eSSENTIAL Accessibility Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Executive Appointments

TORONTO, September 3, 2020 – eSSENTIAL Accessibility, the pioneering Accessibility-as-a-Service provider that empowers organizations to deliver fully accessible and compliant digital experiences, today announced several key additions to its leadership team. Appointments include Darren Sharpe as Chief Revenue Officer, Kris Rivenburgh as Chief Accessibility & Legal Officer, and Alexander Kress as Vice President of Engineering.

The appointments were made in support of our ongoing mission to expand its software platform and services, and maintain rapid geographic expansion to meet an escalating market demand.

Darren Sharpe, Chief Revenue Officer

Darren Sharpe brings nearly 20 years of enterprise sales and leadership experience to the company and will oversee the sales and customer success strategy. Prior to joining, Darren served as the Chief Revenue Officer at TSO Logic, and as the Executive Vice President of Sales for Scalar (now a CDW company).

Kris Rivenburgh, Chief Accessibility & Legal Officer

Kris Rivenburgh is an attorney and the author of The ADA Book. Kris has also written numerous guides on digital accessibility and the law. In his roles at the company, he will oversee the compliance and accessibility programs to ensure that our clients not only meet, but exceed, the appropriate accessibility standards and laws. His primary focus is to simplify and standardize the digital accessibility process so that it’s easy for clients to make their digital properties accessible, stay on top of best practices and new standards, and remain in compliance with the law.

Alexander Kress, Vice President of Engineering

With 15 years of leadership experience in software development and engineering, Alexander Kress will focus on expanding our industry-leading platform capabilities and accelerating new technology development. Prior to eSSENTIAL Accessibility, Alexander was a Director of Software Development at Infor, where he led a significant platform re-architecture that allowed for improved stability, user experience, development speed and significant cost savings.
