The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) was introduced in 2005 with the goal of removing barriers and making it easier for persons with disabilities to participate in their communities and workplaces. The law defines and enforces specific standards related to information, communications, customer service, employment, public spaces, and transportation, which have been rolling out over the last 15 years.

In this webinar, Level Access Chief Experience Officer Derek Featherstone and special guest Monica Ackermann, Director of Global Digital Accessibility at Scotiabank, discuss important AODA requirements and deadlines including:

  • AODA Requirements for websites
  • Target technical standards
  • Training requirements
  • Accessibility compliance reporting
