On Monday, January 6, 2020 at 9pm ET, we will be releasing updates to all Level Access products on all Level Access-hosted production systems. You can expect an outage of up to 4 hours at that time.
Highlights of this release include:
Refreshed User Experience for Access University
The Access University user dashboards, navigation and reporting have been reimagined to create a stronger User Experience. The home dashboard also sports an updated design so users can find their courses more easily and with less scrolling.
Access Engine Updates
Access Engine has been updated to include over 50 new and updated tests. Many of the changes were to incorporate a more comprehensive accessible name calculation from a reference implementation, predominantly created by Level Access Principle Accessibility Architect Bryan Garaventa, an Editor of the W3C Accessible Name and Description Computation specification, enabling his code to incorporate the latest understanding and revision of the specification. This enables Engine to calculate more exact accessible names incorporated in numerous tests.
All Level Access testing products have been updated to use this latest version of Access Engine.
Access Continuum License Updates
Access Continuum Professional will only appear available for download in the AMP Toolbox for organizations that have an active Access Continuum license. The limited Community edition of Access Continuum can be downloaded for free from webaccessibility.com.
To use the Professional version of Access Continuum and get ongoing support and access to updates, contact your Level Access Customer Success Manager or email email@example.com.
