Level Access Expands in Europe to Meet Growing Demand for Digital Accessibility
Jun 10, 2025
Compliance drives growth as 87% of European businesses race to meet the European Accessibility Act (EAA) deadline
Level Access, a global leader in digital accessibility solutions, is deepening its investment in Europe. Building on an established regional presence, the company will expand its support for European organisations facing new regulatory requirements, such as the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and rising demand for accessible digital experiences.
Digital accessibility provides barrier-free access to the digital world for 1.3 billion people living with disabilities globally, including more than 135 million people with disabilities in Europe.
As Level Access strengthens its European presence, the company has appointed Russ Webb as VP of Europe to lead regional operations and customer engagement. Webb brings extensive SaaS and digital experience, with a track record of helping global tech companies scale internationally. The company also recently welcomed U.K.-based marketing executive Tresilian (Sil) Segal as its Global CMO. Drawing on more than 20 years of marketing leadership experience at B2B enterprise and SaaS organisations, Segal will focus on accelerating the Level Access brand and go-to-market strategy worldwide.
“As regulations tighten and AI transforms how digital experiences are built and consumed, accessibility is becoming a business-critical priority,” says Mark Zablan, CEO of Level Access. “Having spent over ten years of my career operating in Europe, I am aware of how important local leadership and regional support are to helping organisations scale accessibility throughout Europe with confidence.”
Enforced beginning on 28 June, 2025, the EAA mandates that many consumer products and services, including e-commerce and banking, are accessible to people with disabilities. According to Level Access’s Sixth Annual State of Digital Accessibility Report, 87% of European professionals surveyed say the EAA applies to their organisation—yet, as of Q3 2024, more than one third had not taken action to comply.
“The EAA is a pivotal moment for organisations across Europe,” says Webb. “With the compliance deadline approaching, companies need clear guidance and proven tools to act decisively. Our local presence means we can support customers in real time—on their terms, in their markets.”
“Our role is to help organisations connect the dots—between compliance, user experience, and business value—and to make accessibility achievable for everyone,” adds Segal. “It’s not just about checking a box; it’s about creating digital experiences that work better for everybody, across every touchpoint.”
