Accessibility Statement

Level Access was founded to make the digital world accessible for all.  Our program is rooted in providing a robust platform solution which incorporates manual accessibility evaluations, user testing, automated accessibility scans, training and supporting clients who are invested in making their digital assets accessible.  This backdrop introduces our commitment to accessibility.

Level Access is committed to producing digital assets that are accessible to everyone.

It is Level Access’s policy to ensure that people with disabilities have full and equal opportunity to access and benefit from the information, products, and services offered by Level Access through levelaccess.com and our other digital assets.

To ensure meaningful access and provide effective communication to people with disabilities, Level Access has undertaken the following measures.

Feedback

Level Access provides this policy statement and notice, linked from the levelaccess.com homepage, soliciting feedback from our audience on how accessibility can be improved.

We welcome your feedback on how to improve the accessibility of our website.  Please feel free to contact us:

Alternative formats

Level Access makes available alternative formats and communication supports upon request.

In making alternative formats available, we always seek the person making the request’s consultation in determining the suitability of an accessible format or communication support.

Standards

Level Access has incorporated and shall make every reasonable effort to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”), Web Accessibility Initiative (“WAI”), available at www.w3.org/TR/WCAG/.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are technical standards to improve digital accessibility.

Compatibility

levelaccess.com is designed to be compatible with assistive technologies and the last two versions of major browsers including Chrome, FireFox, and Safari.

levelaccess.com may not display optimally in Internet Explorer or older browsers.

Distribution

Level Access makes available and annually distributes this policy statement to all personnel that design, develop, maintain, manage, or otherwise have responsibility for the content and format of levelaccess.com (“Web Content Personnel”).

Level Access requires employees and contractors to comply with this policy.  Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.

Policies

Level Access develops, implements, and maintains policies on how it will achieve accessibility and meet AODA requirements. Level Access reviews its policies on an annual basis.

Plan

Level Access has established, implemented, and maintains a multi-year accessibility plan.

Expertise

Level Access utilizes in-house accessibility experts as well as independent, third-party expert consultants to provide consultation and annually evaluate and test levelaccess.com and other assets for WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.

Level Access Accessibility prepares a written report based on the evaluation, which identifies any barriers and provides recommendations to enhance the accessibility of its website.

Our product platform accessibility

The Level Access Platform goes beyond minimum standards and compliance requirements by making an assistive CX technology application available to site visitors who have trouble typing, gesturing, moving a mouse, or reading. The application is free to download from our clients’ digital properties and incorporates tools such as mouse and keyboard replacements, voice recognition, speech enablement, hands-free/touch-free navigation, and more.

The Level AccessAMP (Accessibility Management Platform) and Elevin platforms provide support for leading assistive technologies and incorporate enhancements to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities. Both were designed to support the WCAG 2 Level A & AA accessibility standards as well as the ICT Accessibility Section 508 Standards. A variety of accessibility features are available that ensure all users have access to and can effectively use AMP.

For more information, please see the AMP Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR)Continuum Explorer ACR, and the Access Assistant ACR in the VPATTM (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) format.

Please contact us for additional information: support@levelaccess.com or share other ideas related to our products via our product support portal.

Testing

Level Access engages in automated testing and user testing of individuals with disabilities to continually assess and improve the accessibility of levelaccess.com and other assets.

Training

Level Access conducts training on accessibility and disability and other related subjects.  Training is mandatory for all employees including Web Content Personnel.  Training is conducted by internal experts as well as independent, third-party subject matter experts.

Level Access also conducts regular internal accessibility training for respective departments.  Information on accessibility is also provided for continued education.

Compliance

Through our proactive efforts and genuine commitment to accessibility and following best practices set forth by relevant laws and governing bodies, we believe we not only meet but exceed the digital accessibility requirements imposed by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) as well as other applicable anti-discrimination laws.
