2026 Legal Briefing: Mid-Year Trends in ADA Litigation and EAA Enforcement

Digital accessibility litigation doesn’t slow down for the summer months—and neither should your organization’s compliance strategy.

One year after the EAA deadline, organizations operating in or selling into the EU are still calibrating their risk. Meanwhile, in the U.S., ADA lawsuits remain widespread. And many people with disabilities still lack equitable access to products and services.

So, how can teams provide that access and prevent the need for enforcement?

Join us on July 21 at 11 AM ET for a roundtable conversation with leading disability rights attorney Eve Hill, Partner at Brown, Goldstein, & Levy LLP, exploring the current legal and regulatory landscape. You’ll come away with a clearer picture of the digital accessibility case law and enforcement trends shaping the second half of 2026 and beyond—and what your team should do next.

What you'll learn

In this session, our experts will cover:

  • EAA enforcement, one year in: How EAA enforcement has unfolded across Member States since the June 2025 deadline—from civil society legal notices against major French retailers to Germany’s competition-law warning letters—and what organizations operating in the EU should understand about their current risk exposure.
  • The state of ADA web and mobile accessibility litigation in 2026: Why federal Title III filings rebounded in 2025, new geographic hotspots, and how organizations and advocates are responding to the Title II and Section 504 deadline extensions.
  • Demonstrating a good faith effort: What disability rights advocates search for as evidence of compliance—or non-compliance—with accessibility laws, including how proof of a documented, ongoing accessibility program can influence legal outcomes.
  • Navigating cross-regional compliance: How legal and regulatory developments in the U.S. and Europe intersect—and what global organizations need to account for when managing accessibility obligations across markets.
  • Next steps for your team: Practical guidance for accessibility champions, digital leaders, and compliance teams aiming to improve access by people with disabilities and build a defensible, evidence-backed program that holds up to legal and regulatory scrutiny.
