SSB and NetCentric Technologies have formed a business partnership to assist government agencies and enterprise customers with their complete accessibility needs. Both companies are world leaders in accessibility software and services with SSB’s focus being on web and mobile accessibility, while NetCentric’s products and services address document and PDF accessibility. The partnership will create the first system that provides integrated, automated testing for both web-based media (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) as well as Adobe Acrobat content; other organizations typically only focus on web-based content.

“We are delighted to work with NetCentric to provide a compelling solution for document accessibility in the marketplace.  We recognize that NetCentric has served as a pioneer in document and PDF accessibility and by partnering with them we can ensure our customers continue to receive industry-leading solutions,” SSB CEO Tim Springer said about the partnership.

Ferass ElRayes, NetCentric’s Co-CEO said, “Governments and enterprises typically have a requirement to address web, mobile, PDF and document accessibility.  We are pleased to be working with SSB on providing best-in-class solutions to our government and enterprise customers that address the entirety of these requirements. Our integrated solutions are the most comprehensive in the industry and enable our customers to ensure compliance with Section 508 and other accessibility standards.”

Recent years have seen heightened review of the reach of compliance legislation as advocates for persons with disabilities continue to bring awareness to the notion that such legislation should apply beyond literal public spaces to include the internet. By partnering together SSB and NetCentric are able to offer a full range of accessibility compliance solutions to address the needs of enterprise development environments.
