It's official: Level Access and eSSENTIAL Accessibility are becoming one! Read the Press Release.

On Monday, February 15th, 2021 at 9pm EDT, we will be upgrading AMP, Access Assistant, and Access University. You can expect an outage of up to 4 hours at that time.

Highlights of this release include:

Updated Access University Courses

The following updated versions of existing Access University courses will be released:

  • Adobe Acrobat DC Pro Accessibility
  • Android Mobile Accessibility for Developers v2.0
  • Introduction to ARIA v2.0
  • Accessibility Testing Tools Overview v2.0

These will be released as new courses, and the prior versions of these courses will remain active in Access University until April 26th, after which they will be archived. Any users in the process of completing any of these courses should complete the course ahead of this date. Note that all course completion data for these courses will not be lost and will continue to show up in Access University reports after the courses are archived.

Scanning of Sites with Basic HTTP Authentication

AMP automated tests now include support for scanning web assets with HTTP Basic Authentication enabled. When configuring a new test, there is a new option under the “Macros & Authentication” section that enables entry of a username and password to use when encountering the asset’s authentication fields.

Editable Macros

Users can now edit macros within Access Assistant. When recording or editing a macro, users have several editing options:

  • Deleting macro steps
  • Changing the order of macro steps
  • Adding new macro steps for various types of interactions, from selecting an option in a menu to entering a string in a text field

In addition to editing a macro that has been recorded, users may create all steps within a macro completely manually.
