As the Chief Accessibility Officer at Level Access, Jonathan Avila has been integral in guiding digital accessibility implementation and knowledge transfers to clients ranging from Fortune 500 organizations, the US Federal government, and educational organizations. Jonathan participates in the Accessibility Guidelines (AG) working group as part of the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), designs accessibility testing methodology, blogs on accessibility issues, and has been the subject matter expert on accessibility training created for the private sector, education, and government.
With an extensive technical and programming background, many years of experience in the accessibility field, and his own personal experience as a person with a visual impairment, Jonathan brings unique and invaluable perspectives to accessibility solutions for new and current technologies.
