Original Presentation Date: Thursday, May 21, 2020
In recognition of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), Level Access hosted this session to help raise awareness and understanding of how people with disabilities use and interact with technology.
Many organizations are creating mobile apps to expand their digital footprint and provide more ways for users to engage with their products and services. To build accessible mobile apps and mobile web content, it’s important for designers and developers to understand how people with various disability types are accessing and interacting with that technology.
This session was an overview of the types of assistive technologies (AT) used by people with disabilities on mobile devices, and included live demonstrations of them in use.
Webinar resources include the recorded presentation, slides, and transcript.
